What should humidity be in the house with air conditioning?

Having the right balance is an important component of managing indoor air quality. How often do you need to add Freon to a central air conditioning unit?
Refrigerant should not need to be added to an AC system unless you have a leak. It is a closed system. If you have a leak, it’s important it is repaired before your AC is recharged, otherwise you will be paying over and over for expensive Freon, or Puron if your unit is newer than 2010.
